The Embassy of Italy in Kiev has outsourced the visa application process to facilitate visa applicants. Ukrainian nationals and citizens of other nationalities officially residing in Ukraine, who require and are applying for visas under the categories of Employment, Family Reunion, Business, Transport, Tourism, and Re-entry, will be able to submit their visa applications at the Visa Application Centre for Italy in Kiev.

How to apply?

Embassy of Italy will accept applications from residents of Ukraine and residents of other countries with permit to stay in Ukraine. Visa Applications submitted at Visa Application Center for Italy will be accepted after taking prior appointment. Appointments can be scheduled through the following channels:

Please note (!):

• The visa fee in Ukrainian Hryvnya (UAH) is as per the current exchange rate. It is subject to change without prior notice.
• There is a service charge of UAH 170, - (VAT inclusive) levied per application over and above the visa fees and applicable to all visa applications submitted through the V.A.C.
• To courier your passport back after assessment of the application to your specified address, is available at UAH 50, - (VAT and service surcharge inclusive) per application.

All fees are non-refundable and collected in Hryvnya (UAH). Fees can be paid through cash at the V.A.C.

Important information

- All applicants applying for an Employment Visa are required to come in person to the visa application centre for submitting their visa application. The visa application centre will not be able to accept applications brought by relatives, agents or representatives of applicants..

- All applicants applying for Business Visa need to apply in person at the vac incase they do not have any previous Schengen visa in the last 18 months.

- All applicants are advised to book their appointments through the website or the call centre under the visa category as per their actual purpose of visit. The Visa application centre will be unable to accept applications from any applicant who has booked appointment under a wrong category.

- Due to a high demand and longer waiting period of appointments, the Embassy of Italy has disallowed any rescheduling or cancellation of appointments. Please ensure that you adhere to your scheduled date and time of appointment to submit your visa application at the Visa Application Centre to avoid any delay in your travel plans. However, in case of any emergencies please send your request for rescheduling or cancellation on email to info@italyvac-ua.com for the Embassy to consider your request info@italyvac-ua.com.
