Today rail transport plays a key role in functioning and development of a merchandise market of the country, in satisfaction of public want in movement. It is the main link of the transport system of Ukraine.

Advantages of rail transport are:
possibility of construction on a land territory, with a help of bridges, tunnels and ferries;
realization of railway communicationи with separate and island territories (e.g. between the mainland and Sakhalin island);
a large number of transportations and high carrying capacity of the railways; universality of transportation of different kinds of goods and possibility of mass freight and passenger transportation with high speed;
regularity of transportation in spite of a season, time of a day and weather conditions;
possibility of the creation of the direct link between big corporations by approach lines and support of cargo delivery according to the scheme "from door to door" without expensive transshipments;
shorter way of transportation, in comparison with sea transport;
comparatively not high prime cost of transportations with other modes of transport, except pipeline one..

Today "Ukrzaliznytsya" comprises 6 railways of Ukraine: Odessa, South-Western, Southern, Pridneprovsk, Donetsk, Lvov. "PLASKE" JSC concluded agreements with each railway, which allows paying fares at any railway station of Ukraine.

Also the Organization renders services on paying of transit railway transport, including all concomitant payments (extra charges, execution of the trough declaration). In such a way, with our help you can realize all kinds of rail transportations: trough, export-import, inner.

"PLASKE" JSC developed its own program of accounting and computer cargo handling, with the help of which a client can get constant information about his cargo in a convenient way for him. Each tone of cargo is presented in the PLASKE JSC accounting.

The way of carriages from the producer till the moment of unloading in the port is traced by railway competent experts, with the use of the computer system. A client gets daily information about his cargo movement.

At any moment we are ready to convey information about:

- carriage location on the way
- quantity of carriages, not having come to the receiving station
- train index of carriages with cargo
- approximate terms of carriage arrival at the receiving station

The Organization has big experience in acceptance and shipment of cargo and empty rolling-stocks at the stations of Odessa junction: Odessa-Peresyp, Odessa-Port, Ilyichevsk, Ilyichevsk-ferry, Beregovaya and others. If necessary, the Organization representatives assist and control cargo acceptance. PLASKE JSC experts will prepare a loading sheet for execution; give an advisory opinion about the planning and arrangement of rail transportation.

List of forwarding services of rail transport includes:
railway rate payment;
execution of loading sheets and full package of transport documentation;
carriage traffic tracking and planning on the whole line of march;
client's informing about shipment and acceptance of cargo to the receiving station;

By an additional request and approval we can provide:
order and approval of the plan of rail transport;
execution of all necessary certificates;
control of cargo loading, weighing and sealing of carriages;
customs clearance of the export-import and transit cargo;
documents uncrediting;
reloading of cargo in Ilyichevsk, Odessa and nearby ports;
insurance and organization of cargo protection;

The calculation of complex rate for each shipment is done separately and depends on the stations of delivering and destination, description of cargo and standard transportation commodity code, volume of cargo, necessary rolling-stock, loading of one carriage and mode of the transport.
